Weekly Recap: July Week 4


Good morning! So, who spent the day yesterday watching the Olympics? This girl! I switched between television and live feeds online, but got my fill of sports for the day. I have a feeling I am not going to get much accomplished in the next couple of weeks!


I did manage to get a decent week of workouts in, and am looking forward of week two of Best Body Bootcamp!

Sunday: rest

Monday: BBB workout A, 20 minutes bike (HIIT)

Tuesday: BBB workout B, 20 minutes bike (intervals)

Wednesday: rest

Thursday: BBB workout C, 20 minutes bike

Friday: biceps and core

Saturday: core, stretching, legs


I am excited to challenge myself with BBB week two, and hopefully won’t have to be in my boot too much longer. I go to the doctor August 6th, so fingers crossed that it is not a stress fracture and I am able to go back to running again before the Disneyland half. I can’t believe I leave in just about a month for it! What is even more crazy is that Health Living Summit is just around the corner. I am so excited to be a speaker and can’t wait to see some of you very very soon!

    Love watching the Olympics and I love having it on when I’m at the gym. It inspires me so much more!

    LOVED the opening ceremonies – and loving the games so far!! I second you on the lack of productivity expected these next two weeks…

    I didn’t watch opening ceremonies or any part of Olympics
    I’m not good at watching tv unless on my bike and lately have been busy doing other stuff

    I didn’t watch the opening ceremonies. I like the Olympics, I’ve just gotten out of the habit of watching tv, so it never even occurred to me to turn it on LOL.

    I wish I was going to HLS :-(. Sigh. Maybe next year.

    As I type this, I’m watching women’s cycling. Multi-tasker :-). Had to record the opening ceremonies, though (and haven’t watched yet). They just go on too late for this eatly bird.

    I only caught bits and pieces of the opening ceremony. I haven’t really been watching much of the games to be honest though. Had my sister over and sister time kind of trumps everything else 😉

    I’ve been watching as much of the Olympics as I can in between errands and what have you. I watched a good portion of the Opening Ceremonies before falling asleep (had to get up at 4am on Saturday to run) and thought it was interesting. It was different. Definitely a lot of work went into it.

    Can you believe that I missed the opening ceremonies???? I promise I’m not unAmerican! :) Had worked a 9 hour day and went out to eat with hubby.

    Fingers are crossed on your hopefully not fracture!

    great week in the gym! We’ve had the olympics on all day too. Swimming is my favorite–loving seeing Lochte’s success!
    oh-opening ceremonies started good, but ended with a big thumbs down from me as a whole. It was kind of strange there in the middle.
