I have some exciting news I have alluded to a couple of times, and I have officially been cleared to share!

Travel with the Magic, an Authorized vacation planner, has been invited to attend Disney’s 2012 Earmark Conference aboard the Disney Fantasy in March 2012.

DISNEY FANTASY ARRIVES IN PORT CANAVERAL: In a photo taken March 6, 2012, fireworks light the morning sky as the Disney Fantasy, the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, arrives in her home port of Port Canaveral, Fla. after traveling nearly 4,700 miles across the Atlantic Ocean from Bremerhaven, Germany. The 4,000-passenger Disney Fantasy will welcome guests on her maiden voyage on Mar. 31, 2012, sailing seven-night cruises to the Caribbean and Disney’s private island Castaway Cay, from Port Canaveral. Guess who was chosen as one of the agents in my agency to go to this conference? MMMMEEEEEE! I have heard amazing things about this conference over the past couple of years and am honored to get to go and represent Travel with the Magic along with a few other ladies. Ok, so here is the scoop. Towards the end of March, I will be flying down to Orlando and staying at the Yacht Club (my first time!) for a couple days before we board the Fantasy, Disney’s newest ship, for three nights, and a visit to Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island!

I can’t wait to take a billion pictures and share them all with you. I am excited to learn all about the new ship and see how it compares to the other three. Also, spending a couple of days in Disney World is always lots of fun, too.

Can’t say that my job has sent me to fun places. I got to go to Charleston last summer, which involved riding in the back of a van with 6 other people for 2 hours and back, eating a crappy lunch, and being in meetings all day. Now, if my job sent me on a cruise, or to a fun conference, I would be all up for that :).

I haven’t heard of the Disney Fantasy (I went on the Carnival Fantasy, which I’m pretty sure is polar opposite, haha, but BLEH), but another Disney ship was in port when we were there and it was truly a beautiful ship.

how exciting!!!! I’m so jealous! We stayed at the Beach club last year and it was awesome. Once my kids are a little older, we will definitely be aboard a disney cruise. Have a great time! :)

I have never gone anywhere great for a work conference. In fact, right now they are so stingy that it’s all out of pocket for employees to get any continuing education. Boo to a bad economy!

Looks like fun! I’ve heard great things about Disney cruises. When my kids are a little older I’d definitely want to take one.
